Your first conversation
Install the widget, send a test message and answer it from the inbox.
Follow these steps

Install the widget on your website (see Installation).

Open your website in a private window and send a message through the chat bubble.

The message appears instantly in Inbox. Reply there — the visitor sees your answer in the widget within seconds.
Good to know
Send a real test message
Use a private browser window so you see the website as a visitor, not as a signed-in teammate. Keep the dashboard open in another window and check that the new conversation appears.
Check both directions
Reply from Inbox, then return to the visitor window to confirm the reply arrives. A widget that appears on the page is not enough to prove the conversation works.
