- Email alerts to your team are being rolled out; browser alerts and sound work today.
- There's no native Shopify app yet; Shopify uses the one-line snippet in theme.liquid.
Common questions
Can the AI agent look up an order?
No. It doesn't connect to your store's order data. Write an answer telling shoppers how to check order status, and let order-specific questions hand over to your team.
Will the chat appear on checkout?
It appears wherever the snippet is loaded. On WooCommerce the plugin loads it on every page, including cart and checkout. Hosted checkouts (like Shopify's) may not allow third-party scripts.
What does it cost for a store?
HTchat is free while in beta. Pricing will be published before any paid plan starts.
