How do I install HTchat?
Sign up, open Settings → Widget, copy your snippet and paste it before the closing </body> tag of your site. See the Installation Guide for platform steps.
Does the widget slow down my site?
The script loads asynchronously and renders in an isolated layer, so it doesn't block your page or inherit your styles.
How much does HTchat cost?
Pricing is coming soon. All features are free while HTchat is in beta.
Is there an AI agent?
Yes. The AI agent answers visitors from the Q&A and knowledge you provide, and hands the chat to your team when it can't help.
What visitor data do you collect?
Current page, referrer, browser, operating system, device type and approximate location (country/city), plus whatever name and email the visitor chooses to share. We never collect form contents, passwords or payment details.
Can I change the widget colour and greeting?
Yes — Settings → Widget lets you set the colour, greeting text and left or right position, with a live preview.
Is my data separated from other businesses?
Yes. Each workspace is isolated at the database level and only your team members can read it.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page click "Forgot password?" and we'll email you a reset link.
