Add live chat to client sites without mixing client data
Agencies that add chat to client sites need two things: client data that never mixes, and setup that's the same every time. In HTchat each client gets its own business with its own widget key, branding, inbox and AI knowledge — installed with the same snippet or WordPress plugin on every site.

Built for
- Web design and development agencies
- Freelancers maintaining several client sites
- WordPress and WooCommerce specialists
What gets in the way — and how HTchat helps
Client data must stay separate
Every business in HTchat is a separate workspace. Database rules stop one workspace from reading another's chats, contacts or files.
Every client wants their own look
Logo, colour, greeting and assistant name are set per business, so each client's widget matches their brand.
Installs should be repeatable
The same one-line snippet everywhere, or the WordPress plugin with a one-click connect — no passwords shared.
What a conversation looks like
Pick an example to see how HTchat handles it. These are illustrations of how the product works, not real customers.
Outcome: Answer comes from this client's own menu knowledge only.

- 01
Set up an HTchat business for the client
Sign up with the client's email (or a dedicated one). The business gets a unique widget key (htc_live_…) and its own settings.
- 02
Install on the client's site
Paste the snippet, or install the WordPress plugin and connect it with a one-time code. The site gets a revocable token, never a password.
- 03
Configure branding and AI
Load the client's FAQs into their own AI agent so answers never cross over between clients.
- 04
Hand the inbox to the client
The client answers chats in their own inbox. Disconnect a WordPress site at any time from either side.

So you can decide with the full picture.
- Creating several client businesses under one agency login isn't available yet — today each client uses its own account.
- Teammate invitations by email are still being built.
- Full white-label (removing "Powered by HTchat") will be tied to a higher plan once pricing launches.
Common questions
Can one client ever see another client's chats?
No. Each business is a separate workspace and access is enforced by the database, not just the interface. We test this with two-business isolation checks.
Do I need my client's WordPress admin password to connect?
No. Whoever installs the plugin approves a one-time connection code. The site stores a revocable token, not a password.
Can I disconnect a client site?
Yes, from the plugin's settings page or from HTchat. The token is revoked immediately.
