  1. 01Download the WHMCS module below. In cPanel File Manager open your WHMCS folder (the one that holds configuration.php), upload the ZIP there and click Extract — files land in modules/addons/htchat/.
  2. 02In WHMCS admin go to System Settings → Addon Modules and Activate “HTchat Live Chat”.
  3. 03Click Configure, paste your widget key (starts with htc_), tick Show in client area, set Access Control to Full Administrator and Save Changes.
  4. 04Open your client area in a private window — the chat bubble appears and HTchat marks the site as connected on the first visit.

Verify: open your site in a private window, send a message, and check that it appears in your Inbox.
